SPINBENCH

SpinBenchTM is a software environment designed for the rapid prototyping and analysis of magnetic resonance imaging experiments.

Prototype MRI experiments
easier than ever before

SpinBench is a software environment designed for the rapid prototyping and analysis of magnetic resonance imaging experiments. MR pulse sequences can be easily defined and simulated in a variety of ways, all through the graphical user interface. SpinBench is also a valuable teaching tool for courses covering MRI spin physics.

SpinBench also serves as the core sequencing engine for Vista Cardiac and RTHawk Research

Product features

Multidimensional Bloch simulation with user-selectable parameter axes

Plugin Architecture

High-quality interactive 3D renderings of spin dynamics (requires macOS 10.15 or later)

  • Real-time updating as parameters change
  • 1D graph, 2D image, Fourier transform and spin vector diagram views
  • Averaging over any number of parameter axesSupport for spin motion
  • Bloch simulator divides tasks among available processors
  • Allows easy addition of new features through an Objective-C API
  • Pulse manager can generate standard RF and gradient pulses or import from external files
  • Pulse anchors allow positioning of gradient and RF pulses relative to one another
  • Sequencing manager can graphically assemble sequences that vary arbitrarily from TR to TR
