We’re looking for a passionate and talented Senior Software Engineer focused on our C++/Qt application and reporting to the Director of Product to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the future of this exciting field.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain all aspects of our innovative MRI platform
- Collaborate effectively with a small, dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
- Leverage your strong software design, algorithm, and debugging knowledge to contribute to technical discussions, problem-solving, and investigations
- Support team members by planning and advising development, and reviewing code
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable C++ code
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in software development
You’re a perfect fit if you have:
- A proven record of software development in large scale projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Deep knowledge of C++ and standard library, Qt, MKL, ITK, and similar libraries
- A strong understanding of software development best practices
- A passion for innovation and a drive to make a real impact in the medical field
- The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
Bonus points for:
- Experience with machine learning and its use in modern software development
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, or Rust
- Knowledge of debugging and performance optimization: Valgrind, VTune, and similar
- Experience with medical software or device development, especially MRI
- Experience with Docker or other containers
- Previous experience with HPC or GPU computing
- On-site work is strongly preferred
